Well has hit £1 a litre round here, i know it prob has been over places spesh cen london but when it hits £1 round here it gotta be most of london even the country.

My sister came back from Brum the other day - She said her local petrol station (near the Uni), has been charging £104.9 for STANDARD unleaded for a while!!

Last Friday when I was told to pay over 18 quid for a full tank I simply thought they’re f*****g with me!There was a car fuelling up just after me and I was arguing that It must be car owner’s bill before I noticed the price 
The U.S of A. still pays about a quarter the price of here. Ireland is about 1euro 12cents-80 odd pence and thats in Dublin.

I paid 94.9 last night in St Albans but I’m seeing 103p in central London
when government takes 70% (69.9) in taxes…and uses the money to fund development in Iraq, to buy cheap and unuseable equipment for the army, to send donations to third world countries, to fund road side safety cameras, to introduce traffic calming measures, to build more prisons for the speeding motorists and on funding for road pricing schemes…no wonder this country is completely knackered…
Oh and on their own personal expenses of course, which run out at about £135,000 per MP per year…not totally sure that figure is accurate as its entirely from memory…

If a litre of petrol cost 90p, it would be split in the following way:
sorry its £118,000 on average but the MP from Falkirk was the highest at £140,000…
