The distinctive air and oil cooled 125cc engine was designed for Sachs by Morini Franco Motori of Italy and not only complies with tough Euro 3 emissions requirements, but produces more than 13 HP. This combines with a light weight of 121.5kg to produce an agile and responsive motorcycle that is ideally suited to novice riders. The Funkiest 50cc Motorbike This Christmas

The Funkiest 50cc Motorbike This Christmas

There aren’t many motor vehicles priced at under £1,000 that turn heads for all the right reasons, but the Sachs Madass has always been a machine that defies convention. Sachs produced their first motorcycle in Germany in 1904, so they are not the type of company that one would expect to produce a bike as minimal and startling as the Madass. Billed as “the ultimate 50cc motorcycle” the Madass has a tubular space frame incorporating a fuel tank, twin outlet under-seat exhaust, LED tail lights, mono-shock suspension, front and rear disc brakes and tri-spoke alloy wheels, giving it the appearance of a motorised mountain bike that has been beefed up with parts from a racing superbike. The packaged is topped off with ‘streetfighter’ style naked twin headlights.
