Bike Trac is proud to announce its support of the Dakar Dreams trip starting tomorrow with famous British actor Danny John Jules and teammate Graham Hoskins, as the pair attempt to complete one of the toughest motorcycle journeys on the planet - the famous Paris - Dakar Rally route, raising funds in the process for the Riders for Health charity.

TomTom release version 1.8 of its navigation App for iPhone, with a brand new feature: multi-stop routes. Available for the first time on the TomTom App, this feature makes it easier for drivers to make multiple stops on a single route, by letting them add up to five stop-off points when they plan their journey.

Apparently Transport for London are receiving very few comments from motorcyclists about the new London-wide TfL trial of motorcycles in red-route bus lanes. ??The latest news is that as part of the evaluation of the scheme 'users views' will be taken into account and 'numbers responding' will play a part in this. ??Clearly none of us want to see a situation where 5,000 cyclists have protested and 200 motorcyclists support. It's this kind of thing that would shift the political balance against us.

To coincide with the opening of London’s red route bus lanes to motorcyclists on January 5th, the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI) has today launched a new Code of Conduct for motorcyclists who will be enjoying the new freedom to use bus lanes. The Code has been developed in partnership with the Metropolitan Police and is supported by motorcycle riders’ groups, Motorcycle News and motorcycle dealerships.
