Cumbrian rider Dan Stewart will again spearhead the Wilcock Consulting campaign at the 2012 Isle of Man TT races, fuelled by Monster Energy. The Barrow in Furness rider has enjoyed the support of Graham Wilcockfor eight years and having firmly established himself as the leading privateer around the Mountain Course in recent years, is looking to further improve in June.

A trio of distinctive Yamaha R1s due to head south in aid of Riders for Health Viva Valencia! is the name given to the charity motorcycle ride being undertaken by Danny John-Jules (Red Dwarf's The Cat), Matt Roberts (BBC MotoGP presenter) and Steve Keys (owner of the first Yamaha dealership in the UK) in order to raise money for Riders for Health, the organisation that provides and maintains reliable motorcycles so health workers in remote parts of Africa can reach people with regular health care.

John McGuinness ensured his annual visit to Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough was a successful one at the weekend when he took his Padgetts Honda to no less than three runner-up spots. The Morecambe Missile was instantly at home around the woodland circuit and was on the pace in both the wet and dry, pushing Northern Ireland ’s Ryan Farquhar in each of their Superbike battles.

The Isle of Man Branch of the VMCC is expecting record numbers of people to attend this year’s Festival of Jurby on Sunday 28th August. Last year’s event attracted over 10,000 people and more are expected this year as the event’s popularity increases. It is already the biggest single spectator attraction on the Isle of Man, outside the TT Races.
