MX-LIFE.tv embarked on a worldwide search to find a model to represent and promote MX-LIFE.tv and the MX GP World Championship. After many submissions from various countries, as well as through selected model agencies throughout Europe, ten models from ten different countries were invited for a photo and video shoot.

After the first two TTXGP races in Silverstone and Spa fans get to watch another suspenseful sabre rattling between the series’ racing teams and their e powered bikes at the “TT Circuit Assen” in Assen (NL). With its 17 curves and a total length of 4.555 metres the course has a lot to offer for both, teams and spectators.

Two teams are ready at the starting grid for Husqvarna Motorcycles at 6 Days Enduro in Finland. They will have to fight against the Finnish riders in one of the toughest Enduro races in the world. Hundreds of kilometres of paved graveled or muddy roads are waiting for the riders. Additionally dozens of specials stages are prepared to force the riders to show their skills.

The demanding track of Lommel hosted the twelfth Grand Prix of the season meeting all the expectations. In both MX1 and MX2 classes there was incredible racing and Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings showed their skills on the sand wining the Grand Prix with a double victory in their respective categories.The penultimate round of the UEM EMX2 championship took also place today in Lommel and Donny Bastemeijer obtained the overall victory after finishing second and first in the races. Michael Van Wezel was second and Kenny Vandueren completed the podium.

Although one rider is Scottish (Shaun Simpson) and one is Belgian (Ken De dycker), both LS Honda Racing riders live only little more than a stone’s throw away from the Lommel track where the 11th round of the MX1 World Championship is staged. Obviously the GP of Limburg is also LS Honda’s home GP.

It was the third time in a row that the FIM Motocross World Championship travelled to Latvia, and the Zelta Zirgs track of Kegums fulfilled everybody’s expectations hosting incredible racing in both MX1 and MX2 classes. Antonio Cairoli and Ken Roczen obtained one more Grand Prix victory and increased the gap with their pursuers for the chase of the Title.The fifth round of the UEM EMX2 Championship took also place today in Kegums and Estonian Priit Rätsep dominated both heats, ahead of Stefan Olsen and Romain Febvre, who were second and third respectively.

In 2002 Phil Read was granted the status of ‘MotoGP Legend’ by Dorna. To Yamaha he has carried this distinction for numerous decades and will be forever recognised in Iwata and by Yamaha racing fans across the globe as the very first rider to capture world championship success for the company. Read operated on the international stage in an era when motorcycle racing was making important technological evolution and in a time when true stars were being created on the track.

Marco Melandri (Yamaha World Superbike Team) put in a great performance in qualifying to take his first ever Tissot-Superpole success and also give Yamaha its first top grid slot of the season. Melandri set a new track best of 1 minute 57.634 seconds in Superpole 3 and he will start Sunday’s 20-lap races with his great rival Max Biaggi (Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team) as his closest challenger. Biaggi’s team-mate Leon Camier and championship leader Carlos Checa (Althea Racing) complete the front row.

Since Thomas Chareyre entered in the FIM S1 World Championship back in 2007, he always rounded the top five at the end of the season. Thomas Chareyre’s bet for a change at the beginning of the 2010 joining 747 Motorsport TM Racing Factory team brought the World Title back to his new squad after Thierry Van Den Bosch won it last year.
