The 8th race of the world championship was held in Spain for the MX3 riders where Salivini, who again on Saturday’s trial showed to be the fastest of this championship, reached his umpteenth pole position. The rider of the Husqvarna Cross 2 R Team got hold back during race 1 due to a problem with his bike’s ignition, therefore ending it only as 12 th.
