Storming Comeback for Edmondson at Crychan

The third round of the Metzeler ACU British Enduro Championship took place in the Crychan Forest near Llandovery at the weekend, with Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider, Paul Edmondson, experiencing the ultimate in highs and lows on his RM250. Fresh from his recent World Enduro Championship success, Edmondson was keen to strengthen his BEC series standings but had to endure the highs and lows of enduro after a problem with his rear shock absorber on day one forced him to retire from further competition on the day. Wet conditions made for very hard going but Edmondson was riding well, completely unfazed by the slippery course, until the mechanical hiccup.

Starting the second half of the 2008 World Enduro Championship in style Italian UFO Course Yamaha rider Simone Albergoni narrowly missed out on claiming the Enduro 1 class win on day one of the Grand Prix of Wales, claiming an eventual second place behind Yamaha France rider Marc Germain.

Edmondson Prepares for World Enduro Ride

Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider, Paul Edmondson, prepares this week for the British round of the World Enduro Championship taking place at the Hafren Forest in Wales at the weekend. Riding the two-stroke RM250, Edmondson makes a return to the world stage, where he recorded four championship titles and still retains the accolade of being the longest serving rider in the series history.

Swedish Stage Launches 2008 WEC This Weekend

With just one day to go before the 2008 FIM World Enduro Championship begins with the Grand Prix of Sweden, the UFO Corse Yamaha team are busy putting the final touches to what they are confident will be a successful season with their WR450F and WR250F machinery. The series opener is being staged for the third successive season in Ostersund, deep within the heart of Scandinavia’s frozen north, the 16-day championship only weeks later will head to warmer climes in Portugal and Spain before continuing to travel through southern Europe eventually ending in France in mid-October.

Yamaha's Albergoni Scores First Podium In Spain

UFO Corse Yamaha rider Simone Albergoni put his disappointing result at the opening round of the '07 World Enduro Championship series behind him at round two of the series staged in Puerta Lumbreras, Spain, where the Italian placed in third and second position in the Enduro 1 class. Feeling completely at home on his WR250, and having recorded some strong results in the opening rounds of the Italian Enduro Championship ahead of the Spanish event, Simone showed that despite his frustrating start to the WEC series he now has the speed to battle for E1 class victory.

RND 2 Portugal – Day 2 For KTM

KTM Enduro Factory Team Farioli riders perform well on day two of the second round of the ’06 World Enduro Championship held in Guimaraes, Portugal with David Knight and Ivan Cervantes winning the Enduro 3 and Enduro 1 classes respectively. In doing so the KTM mounted duo extended their respective E3 and E1 world championship advantages.
