Teka Suzuki 3rd and 4th on Turkish Gate

Teka Suzuki Looking for Turkish Success

Teka Suzuki WMX1 approach the third round of the 2009 FIM MX1 World Championship this weekend as leaders thanks to the two podium results gathered by Ken De Dycker and the RM-Z450 in the last fortnight at Faenza and Sevlievo. The 24 year old was second in Italy and third on Sunday in Bulgaria and travels to Istanbul, Turkey for the first time in the history of the series with a one point advantage over Josh Coppins.

Ramon Races to 3rd Podium in Italy

Solid Start for TEKA Suzuki in Mantova

The 2009 motocross campaign cranked into life for the Teka Suzuki WMX1 team on Sunday as the Starcross International at Mantova in Italy once again opened the international calendar after the winter break. A soggy sandy surface at the Grand Prix venue proved a tough first test for a large majority of World Championship regulars and RM-Z450 pilots Ken de Dycker and Steve Ramon steadily flexed their competitive muscles with fourth and sixth positions overall after three motos.

Teka Suzuki Dominate Balen International

It was a busy weekend of race action for the Teka Suzuki WMX1 team as they took in National championship action in both Belgium and Germany. Friday's Balen International saw a display of dominance from the factory RM-Z450 mounted riders as Ken de Dycker won two motos while his team mate Steve Ramon won the other. Unfortunately crashes suffered by both riders meant that neither rider took the overall win.

Ramon Increases Belgian Series Lead

Team Teka Suzuki WMX1 riders Steve Ramon and Ken De Dycker contested the second round of the United Telecom Belgian Motocross Championships held at Kester this weekend with Ramon increasing his series lead. The grassy woodland circuit was in excellent condition for the championship races and over 7000 race fans turned out to support their heroes. Ramon, who is the reigning Belgian and World Motocross Champion, finished second overall on the day with a strong 1-2-2 scorecard after battling hard with Josh Coppins, but was able to increase his championship lead over team-mate De Dycker.

Ramon Aims to Close MX1 Points Gap

Team Teka Suzuki WMX1 rider Steve Ramon will enter the fifth round of the FIM MX1 World Motocross Championship at Mantova in Italy this weekend looking to close the points gap on series leader David Philippaerts. Ramon - who is the reigning MX1 World Champion and currently sits in second place in the 2008 series - proved at round four in Sevlievo, Bulgaria that his race pace is better than the current championship leader, but poor starts have been making it difficult for him to beat the Italian rider in a straight-up race.

Teka Suzuki Team in MX1 Top Eight

Team Teka Suzuki WMX1 riders Ken De Dycker and Steve Ramon - who are currently running first and second in the MX1 World Championship - both qualified inside the top eight for tomorrow's GP of Portugal, the third round of the series. Conditions at the technical Agueda circuit were perfect as great weather and constant grooming kept the red-soil surface in prime condition for the official timed practise session.
