Livia Lancelot Reigns in France

Livia Lancelot wrapped up her first overall win at home track Ernee in great style, with the Championship leader dominating both moto’s and topping the podium from Laier and Papenmeier. Lining up for moto two after yesterday’s dominant performance, pole sitter Lancelot got another good start to move past Laier on the outside of the first corner.

Lancelot Closes in on Maiden Home Victory

The French meeting of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship started off today with the first moto victory of home rider and defending Champion Livia Lancelot. Starting from pole, Lancelot led home rivals Papenmeier and Laier. Moto two, to be televised live, will get underway tomorrow.

Prumm on the Mend After Surgery

Livia Lancelot Takes the Women’s World Championship for Kawasaki!

Livia Lancelot grabbed the first ever Women’s Motocross World Championship title and won her second GP of the season in Lierop on board her GPKR Kawasaki. It has been a long time since Livia got a Pee Wee as a present for Christmas. Nobody in her family was involved in motorcycling and she started practicing in the garden around her parent’s house. Later moving to real motocross tracks and starting her career with local, regional and later national races amongst the men she joined the Kawasaki family three years ago when Roger Pourcel offered her a ride in the GPKR team alongside his sons.

Suzuki MX Teams’ Presentation

In occasion of the FIM Motocross Grand Prix of the Netherlands to take place this weekend, April 5th and 6th, at Valkenswaard, Suzuki decided to present its Motocross racing activities at the GRP (Geboers Racing Promotion) headquarters, in Lommel, Belgium. 2008 will see Suzuki’s strong involvement both in the MX1 and in the MX2 classes with the RM-Z machines.
