A full complement of Virgin Media Yamaha Supersport riders will take to the Norfolk circuit of Snetterton this weekend to contest the fifth round of the 2008 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship (13th-15th June). BJ Toal will look to continue his rich vein of form that has solidified seventh position in the Championship during the first third of his rookie season. The 20-year old from Omagh has produced a string of mature and determined rides this season and will look to elevate his Virgin Media Yamaha Supersport R6 inside the top five at the fast 1.95 mile former airfield circuit. After missing the past three rounds to due illness, Nick Medd will be back in the saddle after a successful test at Cadwell Park two weeks ago. The 28-year old is looking to Snetterton to kick-start his 2008 season.
Following on from a successful debut British Supersport season in 2007, the new Virgin Media Yamaha Supersport pairing of BJ Toal and Nick Medd are fired-up and ready for the challenge that kicks off the 2008 season at Brands Hatch, Kent this weekend, 4-6 April. 2007 Virgin Media Cup champion, BJ Toal starts the next chapter in his fledgling career as he takes to the track this season onboard the Virgin Media Yamaha YZF-R6. Despite the gulf in machinery specs from last season's Cup R6, BJ has impressed in testing and will look to replicate his victory at Brands Hatch at the start of last season.
