Dakar Rally - 9th Win In A Row For KTM As Despres Seals Victory In Buenos Aires

KTM-supported rider Cyril Despres sealed victory in the 2010 Dakar Rally after more than 9000 km across Argentina and Chile. He rode triumphantly into Buenos Aires to complete his third Dakar victory and the ninth consecutive victory for KTM, the Austrian-made sports motorcycles. With this ninth consecutive success KTM remains unbeaten in the most important Rally race since 2001.

Millenium Motorcycles in St Helens has become the latest UK dealer to take on the Victory Motorcycles franchise and is now selling the American V-twin range from its Merseyside base. Millenium is part of the MotoGB group of companies and is also associated with KJM SuperBike, which is also now selling Victory models from its own outlet near Wigan. David Brown, managing director of Millenium Motorcycles, first noticed the Victory brand around 18 months ago and was, he says, impressed from the start. “A regular customer of ours turned up on a Jackpot and it looked great. I thought ‘I’d like to sell those’, so I began doing some research.

Victory Motorcycles has announced the appointment of a new dealership in South Wales – Real World Motorcycles in Aberdare. Real World opened its doors six years ago and has since specialised in niche brands such as Benelli and Moto Morini. It is in this area of speciality that the dealership has excelled. Relaunched International Motorcycle & Scooter Show Closes Following Huge Acclaim And Over 149,000 Visitors

The relaunched International Motorcycle and Scooter Show closed its doors today after ten days which have been hailed by visitors and exhibitors alike as a resounding success. 149,215 people passed through the doors of Halls 1, 2, 3, 3a and 4 of the Birmingham NEC - a brand new location for the Show which had changed its dates to a month later in order to avoid a clash with other European motorcycle shows.
