Vectrix Provides Greenpeace with Sustainable Transport

Greenpeace has taken a big step in reducing its own carbon footprint by purchasing a zero emission Vectrix electric maxi scooter. The Vectrix will be based at their Central London offices and will be used to transport Greenpeace personnel and equipment to and from the Thames where there fleet of RHIBs (Rigid Hull inflatable Boats) are based. The bike will also make trips to their Harlow based storage location, and more publicly to run film and stills during ‘GP events’ in London.

Strathclyde Police Double Electric Power

Strathclyde Police has announced that following the successful introduction of a Vectrix electric maxi scooter for active police duty at Glasgow Airport, they have now ordered an additional Vectrix bike to join the policing forces around the airport. The Vectrix has proved itself to be a reliable method of transport for Strathclyde Police Patrols, and the addition of another bike will enable them to further reduce their carbon footprint without compromising on the highest standard of service to the public.

The relaunched International Motorcycle and Scooter Show closed its doors today after ten days which have been hailed by visitors and exhibitors alike as a resounding success. 149,215 people passed through the doors of Halls 1, 2, 3, 3a and 4 of the Birmingham NEC - a brand new location for the Show which had changed its dates to a month later in order to avoid a clash with other European motorcycle shows.

Traffic Police To Pilot Vectrix Eco-Bikes

Traffic police are getting on eco-friendly, electric bikes in the first trial of its kind across the country. Two Maxi-Scooters will hit the streets of Portsmouth city centre to carry out patrols as part of the six-month trial.
