	Rob Barber Fastest Newcomer at Cancelled Ulster GP 19 August 2008 Rob returned from the Ulster Grand Prix with mixed feels after it was cancelled due to the terrible weather North Ireland suffered on Saturday. He commented ‘There was no other option but to cancel the races as the weather was so bad. Rob was really disappointed as he was consistently the fastest Newcomer in all dry Practice sessions. 	AIM Yamaha and Ian Hutchinson Part Company 15 August 2008 AIM Yamaha have parted company with Ian Hutchinson with immediate effect and after the amicable split the team will not now be contesting the Ulster GP. The Bingley rider indicated that he was stepping down because he thought he was not giving the AIM Yamaha R6 justice as he has lost his way in terms of short circuit racing and failed to make a significant impact in the British Supersport championship. 	Rain Washes Out Ulster GP Practice 14 August 2008 Following on from his successful Ulster Grand Prix meeting last year, Hydrex Bike Animal Honda rider Guy Martin was hoping to get back in the swing of things after a less than successful season but once again, the great British summer had other ideas. After a bright start to the day, gradually the clouds rolled in and by the time practice was due to get under way at 1.30pm this afternoon, the heavy rain which blighted last year's event on the Dundrod circuit returned with a vengeance causing organisers to delay proceedings.
