Big Air Jam
04 July 2007
UKfmx presents ‘THE BIG AIR JAM’ Freestyle motor-cross championship. The aim of the competition is to help raise money for BTCV’s Fast 50 Learning Project which is a community off road bike project, recently in receipt of a grant from the Neath & Port Talbot Community Safety Team. The Fast 50 Learning Project is delivered in partnership with the Neath & Port Talbot Community Safety Team. This project brings the exciting fast action world of biking to the classroom, and allows interested members of the community to gain accredited skills and tackles the issues around off-road illegal riding, Funds raised by the events will go towards developing and expanding the project at a dedicated site in Ystalyfera. On Wednesday 18th July we welcome some of the world's best freestyle riders - including Britain's very own Gary Taylor, Kris Brock, Dave Wiggins, Danny Veale, Jamie Squibb, plus many more fantastic freestyle athletes. They promise an exciting adrenalin-fuelled high flying performance which will leave you stunned. A group of young people from the Fast 50 Learning Project have worked hard at training sessions to enable them to judge the riders' performances, so the riders may find themselves facing their harshest critics yet! Each event will be filmed by the Extreme Sports Channel so a large and noisy turn out is very much expected.
