Tyler Medaglia held onto his lead in the Canadian Motocross series despite suffering poor results at the weekend's fifth round at Nanaimo. The Team Suzuki Rockstar Energy/ OTSFF rider still managed to card a tenth place finish in moto one and a fifth in moto two, which saw him finish a respectable eighth overall on the day. He also kept his lead in the MX1 title hunt, albeit by just one point.
Tyler Medaglia kept his MX1 Championship points lead intact with second overall at Moto Valley in Regina at the Canadian Motocross Championships with 2-5 moto results. And in the Suzuki Women's National Series, Jocelyn Killough stepped up to the plate with 3-4 moto results to record third overall for the day. Thanks to her podium finish, Killough currently holds second place in the Women's championship points standings. While Medaglia came to Regina intent on carding his second win of the season, the Kemptville, Ontario native found himself racing under handicap instead, due to a twisted ankle and knee sustained during Sunday morning practice.
