Supermoto Turin GP - It's Husky Show
29 May 2007
Last Saturday night the Supermoto GP arrived to Turin for a night of racing and show. Husqvarna riders were the main attraction of the event with their outstanding performances. In the S2 class, Gerald Delepine was feeling at ease in the rain on the wet and slippering dirt part of the track and won hands off the first heat. In race 2 Delepine started from 18th place due to a fall and immediately begun his "one man show" and recovered up to 4th place at 10 laps from the end.

Bad Weather Hampers Supermoto Riders In Italy
27 May 2007
KTM factory rider Bernd Hiemer and all the riders in the Supermoto S1 class had more to contend with on Saturday night than the new experience of competing in a night time race. Hiemer managed a fifth place in the first race but for the later night race only came across the finish line at fourteenth for an overall seventh in the season's second event. Set in the Oval Lingotto in the city of Turin, one of the Winter Olympics venues, the race should and was a real spectacle, if for the wrong reasons. Instead of the pleasure of racing in the balmy early summer night air the clouds broke and transformed the arena into a mud bath that made riding practically impossible, according to the German KTM Factory rider.

'Asphalt Surfer' Bernd Hiemer Confident Going To Italy
25 May 2007
The second round of the Supermoto World Championships takes a new turn this weekend with a Friday - Saturday program in the Italian city of Turin - including a night race - and KTM factory rider Bernd Hiemer is raring to try his skills. Organizers have transformed the Oval Lingotto, Turin's 2006 Winter Olympic Games venue, into a Supermoto arena and the German rider anticipates a great atmosphere for riders and crowd. The oval is just 500 meters away from the city centre, which should ensure a great attendance for this spectacular and crowd-pleasing event.
