ARB Tuning Kawasaki Conquers Tough Hawkstone Weekend
15 August 2008
When ARB Tuning Kawasaki arrived at Hawkstone Park for the penultimate round of the British Masters Motocross championship last weekend, it had all the makings of yet another wet race. Drizzle throughout Saturday morning and rain throughout the afternoon made it look like it could be a repeat of the so ill-fated previous outing of the same series barely a few weeks ago, in which the team watched Sunday's racing get cancelled. On Sunday, mixed weather and blustery winds before lunch turned into sunshine later in the afternoon, turning the outing into something much more pleasant.

Steady Progress for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
27 June 2008
Wet, windy and cold weather marked the fifth round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship as the full ARB Tuning Kawasaki team returned to Northern Ireland's Desertmartin track for yet another wet weekend. Although Saturday's arrival was in good conditions, the weather turned sour throughout the night. But - Desertmartin being what it is, soaked up the rain without too much trouble, and just turned into a very rough and choppy surface that would be challenging for the day ahead.

Mixed Grand Prix weekend for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
03 June 2008
ARB Tuning Kawasaki joined the masses at the Grand Prix of Great Britain at Mallory Park this weekend, but not on the spectator side of the fence. Indeed, Jamie Lewis and Mark Jones were selected to join the ranks of selected British riders at the starting line. The facility at the Mallory Park road-race circuit was created from scratch in just under five months, and while rain threatened time and again over the weekend, the gods smiled on the event organisers, participants and spectators.

British Masters Summer Action Continues for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
13 May 2008
The third round of the British Motocross Masters series invited ARB Tuning Kawasaki and its rivals to Landrake in Cornwall this past weekend, where summery temperatures greeted riders and teams alike. The team was at full strength at this round, and was expecting to do well, and there was little disappointment. Vytautas Bucas, the team's youth rider, qualified in third on Saturday morning, and followed up on this with two fantastic races later in the afternoon. The first race started off in the top four, but Vytautas soon set his sights on the leader, Scott Elderfield. After ending the race in second, Vytautas followed up with a consistent solid ride in the second race. Here he was second into the first lap, and remained second throughout.

Cracker Weekend at The British Masters for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
25 April 2008
ARB Tuning Kawasaki enjoyed a cracker of a race meeting at Dean Moor in Cumbria this past weekend. The second British Masters Motocross series round enjoyed much nicer weather up north than some other areas of Europe; dry conditions with some dust definitely were a change from the cold and wet experienced by the World Motocross Championship in Spain.

Good Results Continue for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
16 April 2008
Muddy conditions greeted ARB Tuning Kawasaki and its competitors at the third round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship at Waggadon Farm in Devon this past weekend. Delayed on arrival on Saturday to let the paddock area dry out, the team settled in to more rain overnight. As a result the racing was delayed by an hour on Sunday morning as well to allow the track to solidify somewhat, a decision that was once again undone by another heavy shower during MX2 qualifying practice.

Weather Ruins British Masters MX Opener for ARB Tuning Kawasaki
21 March 2008
Heavy rain put paid to the season opener for the British Masters Motocross series at Culham in Oxfordshire this past weekend. The weekend's weather steadily worsened throughout Saturday, and when it became clear during the Pro 125 class qualifier late afternoon that the weather would not improve any further, the second session for the Pro Open class was called off. Further heavy rains throughout the night forced the promoter to call off the Sunday's racing.

ARB Tuning Kawasaki Starts Season On A High
04 March 2008
ARB Tuning Kawasaki made the trek to the traditional season opener for British motocross at Hawkstone Park this past weekend. Riding exclusively in the MX1 class and facing some of the toughest competition in the world, Mark Jones and Jamie Lewis made a good first impression, and more. After both qualifying in the twenties, Mark and Jamie scored top fifteen and top twenty results throughout the day. Both riders suffered from mid-pack starts, but both made their way towards the top fifteen by mid-race, and this work was rewarded with the honour of the top scoring Kawasaki team of the day.
