Norman Hyde has developed a modular hard luggage system for post-1999 Bonnevilles in conjunction with Italian luggage specialists Givi. This enables owners of the modern classic Triumph to fit a top case and/or side cases bringing total potential carrying capacity to a whopping 117 litres. Not only does this greatly increase carrying capacity, compared to the soft luggage options currently available for the new Bonnevilles, it is also more secure, offers better weather resistance and allows a pillion to be carried in comfort.
These new megaphone silencers from Triumph specialist Norman Hyde will add a dash on Sixties sporting street cred to current Triumph Bonnevilles as well as liberating extra power and the ‘big twin sound’. Norman Hyde has been involved with performance parts for Triumph motorcycles for over 30 years and his megaphone silencers, like those on the current Triumph Thruxton model, are modelled on the original sports exhausts of the 1960’s.
Norman Hyde has developed a kit for the current Triumph Bonneville that will enable owners to create their very own ‘Street Scrambler’ (Bonneville SS), with enhanced control, sound and stopping power.
Norman Hyde has introduced a range of accessories for the current Triumph Bonneville range derived from his own development Bonneville Street Scrambler. Hyde, who is celebrating 30 years in business this year, premiered his Bonneville-SS at the NEC Show in 2004, several months ahead of the factory version. He is making components from the kit available in response to demand from customers in the UK and abroad who wish to customise their bikes.
