Stratford Council have rejected Warwickshire Police’s application for a licence review. It appears the application did not contain sufficient grounds to warrant a review to overturn last year’s decision, which had extended the licence until 2018.

A change in regulations imposed the teams to cancel a practice session and as a consequence the squad had less time at their disposal. Nevertheless, both riders have tried different types of bike setup in search of a cycle solution that would adapt to the three-cilinder Triumph features.

Norman Hyde Pannier Frame Kit for Triumph Scrambler

Norman Hyde has developed a pannier frame kit for the Triumph Scrambler, which attaches to the bike’s left side, balancing the distinctive high-mount exhaust on the opposite side. This provides a solution for riders who want to carry luggage in pannier but cannot use traditional ‘soft’ saddlebags on the Scrambler because they would melt on the silencers.

BMCRC Centenary Meeting 18th-19th April @ Brands

The British Motorcycle Racing Club announces the final content for its Centennial meeting. The weekend of 18-19 April 2009 corresponds with the very first BMCRC meeting which took place at the Brooklands circuit in Surrey on the 18th April 1909. The Brands Hatch Indy circuit has been booked for the weekend and it’s hoped that many club members will become involved both past and present. The schedule will be for club championship racing amalgamated with nostalgia, including Historic/Classic races, parades and special events.
