Honda Rider Riders Rerady At The British Grand Prix
24 June 2007
Donington Park is heaving this weekend with the buzz that is MotoGP. With a rain soaked start to Friday's practice sessions and a sunny day on Saturday, all is left open for race day on Sunday. Pleased with Saturday's practice, the Honda teams are ready and waiting, here are quotes from the Honda riders who are racing at the British Grand Prix being held at Donington Park, UK.

8th and 12th For Honda
05 July 2006
Runaway series leader Alvaro Bautista (Aprilia) won the 125cc race from Mika Kallio (KTM) who snatched second from Mattia Pasini (Aprilia) at the final turn on the last lap. Bautista has now registered four wins so far this season and looks in unmatchable form at this stage of the season. Kallio led into turn one followed by Pasini and Bautista, but it only took three laps for the Spanish series leader to establish himself at the front with a series of fastest laps – and from then on the race was his barring any mishaps – and he made no mistakes.

8th For Elit Honda's Thomas Luthi
26 June 2006
Mika Kallio (KTM) prevailed in a hard-fought 125cc race from Sergio Gadea in second and series points leader Alvaro Bautista (both Aprilia) in third. This is Kallio’s second win of the season so far. Reigning World Champion Thomas Luthi (Elit Grand Prix Honda RS125R) finished eighth after crashing heavily in the morning warm-up. The 22-lap race was the first to get underway on the new Assen track and it was Kallio from pole who lead the pack into the new turn one and beyond. Mike di Meglio (FFM Honda RS125R) was among the front-runners in the early stages until the Frenchman faded from the halfway point.

Steady 6th And 8th For Honda
19 June 2006
Local man Alvaro Bautista won a typically fraught 125cc race from his Aprilia team-mates Hector Faubel and Sergio Gadea, making it an all-Spanish podium. The fourth member of the team, Italian Mattia Pasini was fourth. Bautista started from pole, but was headed into turn one on the opening lap by Pablo Nieto (Aprilia). Thomas Luthi (Elit Grand Prix Honda RS125R), who started from 10th on the grid, had hoisted himself to second by lap two and the Swiss World Champion looked as if he had the speed to stick with the leader.
