The Department of Tourism and Leisure is heading to The Carole Nash NEC Bike Show 2008 in Birmingham in November and December to promote The Isle of Man to Motorsport fans. The DTL will be in the main hall and will be sharing a stand with Duke Marketing. The TT Marshals Association will also be represented on the stand throughout the duration as they look to promote the chance to marshal at the TT and Manx Grand Prix.
Shane Byrne is the rider in form in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and he intends to continue his dominant run in the country’s premier series in the fourth round at the Donington Park grand prix circuit on Spring Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. The Airwaves Ducati rider has won four of the six races so far, finishing second in the other two, as he bids to regain the crown he won some five years ago, but he feels that his record should be better, having missed out on completing a second winning double of the season at Brands Hatch.
The incredible TT Live! service provided by the Official website of the Isle of Man TT is back for 2008, and it’s better than ever. Launched last year, TT Live! allowed even more people to follow the action from the world-famous Mountain Circuit with ‘as it happened’ updates, results, news and more. For a subscription of just £10 fans will be able to enjoy the Radio TT coverage, provided by Manx Radio, from every single race and practice session.
