Moto Morini will introduce two new models this spring, with another two due to follow later in the year, expanding the range of machines available to UK riders from three to seven. First to arrive on British roads will be the Avio, a version of the Corsaro designed specially for those riding a potent V-twin for the first time. Its Corsacorta Bialbero 1187 cc twin-cylinder engine has been optimized to deliver 120 hp to the shaft (compared to 140 hp on the standard model) and offer a full-bodied, fluid thrust at low revs, with 102 Nm of torque.
Three Cross Motorcycles will transfer UK distribution of Cagiva and MV Agusta motorcycles to Moto GB Ltd with effect from 1st January 2008. The decision was taken in order to free up resources at Three Cross Imports division to concentrate on their successful range of Peugeot Scooters, recently expanded to include machines of up to 500cc, with key new model launches due in the New Year.
The MV Owners group of Great Britain are running a track day at Cadwell Park Circuit on Thursday 16th August. There will be four groups, from novice to race classes, and the full 2.173 mile circuit will be open, with plenty of track time available throughout the day.
Three Cross Motorcycles have signed a deal to be the exclusive importers and distributors of Moto Morini motorcycles in the UK. The Dorset based Company has a well-established association with the Italian motorcycle industry, and Moto Morini joins Cagiva and MV Agusta within their portfolio.
