De Dycker 10th After French DNF

Teka Suzuki World MX1's Ken De Dycker has taken 10th position at a weather-hit Grand Prix of France at the Ernee circuit for the eighth round of 15 in the FIM MX1 World Championship. The Belgian steered his works RM-Z450 to third place in the first of two motos in windy and showery conditions and had to withdraw from the second race while holding second after a right foot-peg broke negotiating the rough French dirt.

The 2008 Motocross of Nations held at Donington Park in Great Britain proved to be quite successful for Teka Suzuki WMX1 riders Ken De Dycker and Steve Ramon as they both finished second overall in their respective classes - MX1 and Open - on their factory RM-Z450s as they headed Team Belgium to third overall in the final team classification. ?It was also a successful day for Italian team rider Alex Salvini who scored a very creditable fourth overall in the premier MX1 division and Cody Cooper who was fifth in the Open class for New Zealand.
