Early Bath For Roberts As Misfire Stops His Race
04 November 2007
Kurtis Roberts had a disappointing close to a difficult season in the final round of the MotoGP championship, the Valencia GP, retiring after ten laps of the 30-lap race round the 4.005-km Ricardo Tormo circuit outside the historic portcity. The younger son of triple-champion Kenny Roberts had qualified 19th, and felt confident he could improve his position and add to his points score after an encouraging performance in morning warm-up, when he was 14th.

Roberts Has Some Fun For Final Race
03 November 2007
Kurtis Roberts will start tomorrow's GP of Valencia from the sixth row of the grid, after qualifying in 19th position for the final race of the year. At a favourite track, however, he hopes to be able to improve on that, to add more points to his season's score. Kurtis, the second son of legendary triple champion Kenny Roberts, is riding a Honda-powered hybrid, with a made-in-England special chassis, designed and built by Team Roberts, the only independent constructor in the MotoGP class.

Stoner – Ending As He Started
02 November 2007
The last MotoGP race of the season and World Champion Casey Stoner showed every intention of finishing the 18-round Championship in the same way as he started in Qatar way back in March. Gritty Hayden Grinds Out Sixth Successive Podium
10 April 2006
Nicky Hayden (Repsol Honda RC211V) came a narrow second to Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) in a tense MotoGP race here in windy Qatar. Loris Capirossi (Ducati) was third. This is Hayden’s sixth consecutive rostrum finish as he bids for his first win of the 2006 season. With a 33km/h wind, erratic in direction, blowing throughout the day, turns two and nine seemed to be the worst affected. There was also a 44 degree track temperature to contend with, although the elevated ambient temperature that is so often a debilitating factor here was ‘only’ 25-degrees now that this is an April race instead of an October fixture.
