19 August 2008
Repsol Honda RC212V rider Dani Pedrosa and HRC test rider Tadayuki Okada took to the track at Brno Yesterday, following the Repsol Honda team’s difficult Czech GP weekend. 05 June 2008
There is hardly time for the British riders to catch their breath as they race from Italy to Spain to compete in the Cinzano Grand Prix of Catalunya in Barcelona on Sunday. For James Toseland it’s a new experience as he prepares to pit his considerable skill against the demands of the superb 2.937 miles Circuit De Catalunya for the very first time. For the British 125 cc youngsters it’s a familiar path because Bradley Smith, Danny Webb and Scott Redding have all honed their World Championship skills in the Barcelona based MotoGP academy and in the Spanish 125 cc Championship. Ulsterman Eugene Laverty also faces the 250 cc race after equalling his best ever grand prix finish at Mugello on Sunday.

Repsol Honda's Pedrosa Takes Hard-Fought Third
02 June 2008
Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa rode a gutsy race in today’s Italian Grand Prix, battling back and forth with reigning World Champion Casey Stoner and eventually finishing third aboard his RC212V. HRC test rider Tadayuki Okada did a sterling day’s work with Honda’s new pneumatic-valve-spring RC212V engine, scoring two World Championship points. Contesting his first GP in almost eight years, the 41-year-old gathered a full race of data that will help Pedrosa and Hayden decide which type of engine they will use at next weekend’s Catalan GP.

Okada Joins Repsol Honda's Pedrosa & Hayden
25 May 2008
Repsol Honda RC212V riders Dani Pedrosa and Nicky Hayden will be joined by wild card team-mate Tadayuki Okada at the Italian GP. Pedrosa aims to return to his winning ways in Italy after a tough French GP where he scored his first non-podium finish in five races. The Spanish star was fourth in France and still holds joint second place in the World Championship standings. Last year Pedrosa finished a close second at Mugello. In 2005 he won the 250 GP at the track. Hayden is still chasing his first top-three finish of the season and will be aiming to repeat the Mugello podium he achieved in 2006 on his way to winning that year’s MotoGP crown.
