Taboo Motorsport's Michael Hill has started the lengthy recovery process following a horrific smash at Snetterton where he sustained two broken vertebrae. Hill had started the British 125GP from 23rd on the grid after a difficult time in qualifying but his usual aggressive start to the race had seen him progresse to thirteenth place. Howevere, it all went astray on the last corner of the last lap when a fallen rider was assisted back onto the track on the racing line in front of Hill. There was little that he could do to avoid the crash and ended up rear ending the other rider who was hardly moving.
