Manning, known on-screen as Russell Owen in the channel four TV soap, has been a keen motorcyclist and racer for a number of years, and accepted the offer to ride in the series after watching the championship support the British Grand Prix at Donington Park last month. 	Hollyoaks Actor To Race In GSX-R Trophy 24 July 2008 \| 3 Comments Hollyoaks actor, Stuart Manning, who plays Russell Owen in the hit Channel 4 television soap, has signed-up to race in the forthcoming ACU Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy race, being held at Anglesey circuit in North Wales on the 26th and 27th July. Manning, a keen motorcyclist, accepted the invitation to race in the one make race series, after watching the second round of the series in June as it supported the British Grand Prix at Donington Park in Leicestershire.
