On Wednesday the 3rd of June we had the pleasure of being invited to talk to year 10 Motor Vehicle Students from Loughborough college’s Schools link programme.
Just a very short week after our first points of the season we arrived at Thruxton looking to make further improvements continuing for the moment to use the 08 Yamaha R1. The weather although we all agree is a very welcome change from the last few weeks, continued at Thruxton which gave 2 major things for everyone in the paddock – Huge crowds to for sponsor exposure and tyre issues at this very abrasive circuit.
We are delighted to unveil our new livery for the next round of the British Superbike series. Again, we have been working very hard to attract new sponsors to the sport, and with the help of Les Waterfall of Beechdale Motor Group in Derby, we have put together a fantastic deal bringing SsangYong Motor into the sport for the first time, as a Team sponsor. SsangYong has been manufacturing vehicles for longer than most people think, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2004. SsangYong had sales of 136,581 in 2007
