Dani Shooting For Repeat of 2006 British Victory
22 June 2007
Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC212V), Honda's main man in MotoGP, has ridden to four podiums so far this season, but a victory has so far eluded the man who lies third overall in the World Championship points standings. Donington Park is where all that could change. The 21-year-old Spanish phenomenon won here last year from Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) and after his gritty ride to third two weeks ago in Catlunya - only just out of touch of Casey Stoner (Ducati) and Rossi at the flag, he is showing all the signs of getting his title challenge back underway.

The good weather and temperatures which have been higher than expected played an exceptional leading role on the first practice day of the Comunitat Valenciana Grand Prix. It's been a good day for the Repsol riders, who have been able to finish in top positions both in the 250cc and the MotoGP class. The only exception was Bradley Smith; the young British rider crashed during the 125cc practices, fortunately without any physical consequences.

Australia Receives The Repsol Honda Team With Sun And Cold Temperatures
15 September 2006
Nicky Hayden sets the third fastest time and team mate Dani Pedrosa, still convalescent of his injured right knee, is seventeenth in Phillip Island. The high temperatures and humidity rate in Malaysia have given way to quite different figures only five days later: the 18º C and 28% humidity of Australia have been a heavy change for the whole caravan following the 2006 World Championship. Despite the cold weather, the usual wind at Phillip Island did not show up this time and that made things much easier for the riders, considering that there have been hardly any crashes. The first contact of the Repsol Honda Team, with Phillip Island was trouble-free.

Complicated Start Of The Malaysian Grand Prix For The Repsol Honda Team
08 September 2006
Bad start of the Malaysian Grand Prix for the interests of the Repsol Honda Team, leader of the overall teams' and riders' standings in the 2006 World Championship. While the solid leader of the standings, Nicky Hayden had to settle for a back eleventh place after this first practice day, things went even worse for his team mate Dani Pedrosa, who had a heavy crash 28 minutes before the end of the second free session, while he was leading the time sheets with an advantage of almost one second. The crash caused him a strong blow, injuring his right knee and a toe of his left foot. It happened on turn 13 of the Sepang layout and the Repsol rider was riding at 192 Km/h when he crashed. The front tyre of Dani's bike lost grip on that fast right-hander and the rider, who was leaning his knee on the ground, had the bad luck of hitting with the knee against the inner kerb, causing him a spectacular cut.
