Skidmarx McGuinness Replica Screen for Honda Fireblade

Skidmarx have introduced new screens and a hugger for the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, including a replica of the screen used John McGuinness when he won this year’s Senior TT on the Padgett’s Manx Gas Racing Honda. Skidmarx manufacture their screens by hand in the UK from 3mm acrylic and this gives them the flexibility to create a variety of shapes and sizes to suit the requirements of top race teams, like in BSB. Three versions are produced for the CBR1000RR – standard, double bubble and McGuinness replica – all of which are designed to replace the original item using the existing mounting points and fasteners.

Aprilia Mana Screen and Hugger from Skidmarx

Skidmarx Screens Race to Success at the 2008 TT Races

British-manufactured Skidmarx screens were fitted to the winning bikes in the Senior, Supersport, Superstock and Superbike races at this year’s Isle of Man TT. Australia’s Cameron Donald started the week with two wins from two races, finishing first in both Superbike and Superstock classes on his 1000cc Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing. Kiwi Bruce Anstey followed this up with another win for Relentless Suzuki in the second Supersport race, setting a new lap record on his GSX-R600 of 125.359mph.
