San Carlo Honda Gresini Prepare to Tackle Home GP
26 August 2008
Team San Carlo Honda Gresini take on one of the most important events of the season this weekend, the San Marino Grand Prix, which takes place at the Misano Adriatico circuit. The squad led by Fausto Gresini will go into battle just a few kilometres from the team’s headquarters in San Clemente di Rimini. It is also an event of special importance for Alex De Angelis, the only San Marino native on the MotoGP grid. After his stunning fourth place in the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello earlier in the season, a placing he repeated at Sachsenring, Alex will again look to be amongst the leaders in front of his home fans.

19 August 2008
Alex De Angelis and Shinya Nakano were back on track at Brno yesterday for the first day of tests, which are scheduled to continue for the Japanese rider today. Alex clocked up 70 laps with the objective of improving his lap times and feeling with the front end of his machine. Rough Ride for Honda Gresini at Laguna
21 July 2008
Team San Carlo Honda Gresini head into the summer break hoping to put another unfortunate Grand Prix out of their minds, with both Shinya Nakano and Alex de Angelis riding bravely to the points at Laguna Seca today but with their true potential certainly not reflected by 10th and 13th place finishes. It was always going to be a tough USGP for the pair after crashes in qualifying limited them to lowly grid positions, but in particular for De Angelis, who was riding with the added inconvenience of a broken thumb. The rookie rider put on a courageous display to finish in the points, whilst a potential top eight finish for Nakano was spoiled by a mid-race mistake.

Team San Carlo Honda Gresini Head to the US
16 July 2008
The MotoGP World Championship arrives at Laguna Seca for the tenth time in total, with the circuit that lies between the towns of Monterey and Salinas, to the south of San Francisco, having hosted the USGP on six occasions between 1988 and 1994 - as well as for the past three seasons. Seven of the nine races held there so far have been won by Americans, demonstrating the advantage of local knowledge at this unique circuit. Team Gresini have featured strongly, however, with two podium finishes out of three attempts thanks to consecutive third place finishes for Marco Melandri in 2006 and 2007.

Honda Gresini Ready to Tackle MotoGP’s Tightest Track
07 July 2008
The history of premier-class racing at Sachsenring can be divided into two eras – firstly from 1961 to 1972, when the original circuit, measuring almost nine kilometres, hosted the East German Grand Prix. The modern era began in 1998, when the top class returned to a completely modernised facility.
