Co-ordit Racing - Cadwell Park Preview
22 August 2008 | 2 Comments
The demanding Lincolnshire circuit of Cadwell Park will provide the next test for BSB newcomers Co-ordit Racing this weekend (23-25 August). The 2.18 mile circuit has historically proved a firm favourite with both racers and fans over the years, who make the annual pilgrimage to the picturesque circuit. For spectators it offers the chance for close trackside proximity and the spectacle of riders literally ‘jumping’ the Mountain section. For riders, Cadwell Park is one of the most physically demanding tracks due to it’s tight, narrow and twisting characteristics that leave little room for error.

Co-ordit Racing: Knockhill BSB Preview
07 August 2008
The Co-ordit Racing Team will make a debut trip north of the border to contest round 8 of the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Knockhill this weekend (8-10 August). The 2008 season has provided a number of firsts for the Leicester-based outfit, most notably with Richard Cooper’s demolition of the Henderson Yamaha R1 Cup field to claim victory at Snetterton. This weekend will be the team’s first trip to the Fife venue, a challenge that the whole team is relishing.

Team Co-ordit Improve Steadily
21 July 2008
Dean Ellison returned to Oulton Park, scene of his unfortunate accident during Round Three in May, keen to improve his Championship position as he and the Co-ordit Racing Team aim to steadily improve their fortunes on the Yamaha YZF R1 Superbike package. Changeable weather conditions hampered free practice sessions and a technical gremlin robbed Dean of a top fifteen qualifying spot. An intermittent misfire during his last run, would see the Leicester based rider forced to start from a fifth row starting position for both races. With the declaration of a wet first race, the unseasonal weather once again threatened to spoil the show. Dean opted for slick tyres and put in a spirited performance, scoring two Championship points with a fourteenth placed finish.

Co-ordit Racing Head to Oulton
18 July 2008
The second half of the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike season begins in earnest for Co-ordit Racing at Oulton Park this weekend (18th-20th July). Round 7 sees the second visit of the season to the picturesque 2.69 mile Cheshire circuit. Co-ordit Racing’s Superbike rider, Dean Ellison will be looking to leave with points on the board rather than the injuries he suffered as an innocent victim back in May.The experienced rider was collected by Steve Mercer’s bike in the closing stages of the second race, scuppering any chance of points and setting the Leicester-based rider back a round through injury. Now, with a string of point-scoring results under his belt, Dean is eager to start moving towards the top ten and up the championship leader board.

LB's Sam Middlemas' R6 Inferno Disaster
17 June 2008 | 3 Comments
You can help - Fancy your name on the bike from just £10? - This past weekend, disaster struck for LB’s national Superstock 600 rider Sam Middlemas who was racing at Mallory Park after just getting a Yamaha R6. Middlemas crashed after hitting some brake fluid left on the exit of the bus stop during qualifying. His new R6 caught fire after the fuel-tank split and allowed petrol to flow out, which in turn ignited. The marshals were quickly on the scene and did their up-most to put the inferno out. Unfortunately this lasted for what seemed like an eternity and left Sam with a very swollen knee and a very burnt and looking R6.

MKW Announces Two Man Rider Line-Up For 2008
12 February 2008 | 2 Comments
2008 will see the newly formed MKW Suspension field a two man team focusing on British Superbike in the Junior Superstock class and the New Era Superclub Formula 600 Championship. The new Triumph team will be run by Chris Moore, owner of the newly formed business MKW Suspension. The busy year will see Chris not only with a new business venture but take two relatively new riders and nurture them in the British championships. Moore is keen to dispel the myth that suspension is a ‘black art’, offering race engineering services through practical workshops to understand your motorcycle. Moore has previously worked with Centurion Honda and was instrumental in helping Pete Spalding to the 2006 British Supersport Cup title and won the 2007 New Era Superclub 600 Championship with RLR Motorsport and Steve Tomes.
