05 October 2008
Noriyuki Haga’s exceptional end-of-season run of form continues at Magny-Cours this weekend as the Yamaha Motor Italia WSB rider powered to the Superpole for tomorrow’s French Round races with a new best lap of 1 minute 38.444 seconds. For the Japanese rider, who notched up a double win here last year and another double two weeks ago at Vallelunga, it was his first pole of the season and his sixth overall. The one-lap dash was a hard-fought affair, with the top 4 ending up in the space of three-tenths of a second and four different bikes on the front row from Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati and Honda. Lining up alongside Haga will be Fonsi Nieto (Suzuki Alstare), the Spaniard producing his best performance of the year, followed by championship leader Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox) and Carlos Checa (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda).

Double Tops For HANNspree Ten Kate Honda
08 October 2007
An astonishing display of true grit and determination enabled British rider James Toseland to secure his second World Superbike Championship title - and the first ever for HANNspree Ten Kate Honda. The 2007 series victory rounds off an extremely successful season, in which the team has already collected the World Supersport title with Kenan Sofuoglu. The 27-year-old collected the win by the narrowest of margins following two difficult 23-lap races. Race one saw Toseland forced off the track on the opening lap after Lorenzo Lanzi high-sided in front of him leaving him nowhere to go but onto the gravel. The new champion remained aboard the HANNspree Ten Kate Honda CBR1000RR and re-joined the track at the back of the pack.
