No Glory for Team Triumph-SC at Donington

Team Triumph-SC did not pick too much satisfaction from Donington’s today race, where it did start with more ambitious hopes for Pawel Szkopek. The Pole, tenth in the morning warm up session, got a good start, but a collision at the third lap damaged his bike and Pawel lost a lot of places before to be forced to retire.

Garry McCoy Injured in Practice Session at Brno

The main event of the second practice day at Brno Automotodrom for Triumph-SC Team has been the very bad accident occurred to Garry McCoy during the second free practice session in the morning. About ten minutes to the finish Garry, who was running very fast, so that at first split he recorded the fourth fastest, found on his line outing a corner in the downhill sector, the Pitt’s Honda running slowly along the track edge.

In the final practice day the 675 Triumph-SC has been in difficult on the very fast Monza track, as well at the end of the qualifying session Garry McCoy was not particularly disappointed.

Difficulties for Triples at Monza

The ultra fast Monza circuit gave hard difficulties to the English three cylinder machines in this first day of the Italian round of the WSBK Championship on the 5793 meters of the historical circuit situated in Milano’s hinterland. After a free practice session full of mechanical and electric troubles fr the afternoon qualifying the bike of Garry McCoy performed a little better, but the Australian “King of Sliding” has been not able to do better as 22nd position, clearly far from the leaders.

4th & 5th Row for the Team Triumph-SC at Assen

The final qualifying day at Assen has been lighted up for the sun, excluded a short rain shower early in the morning. For the Triumph-SC Team not everybody has been perfect, but it had some satisfaction too, as the best maximum speed recorded by the 675 Daytonas Supersport in the speed trap placed in the circuit’s fastest line.

First Practice Day For Team Triumph-SC At Assen

First practice day today at Assen for the fourth round of World Superbike and Supersport Championship. After the awful rain of yesterday night a splendid blue sky welcomed today the riders and the good weather keep all the day long, as well some cloud arrived during the afternoon. Working day for the Team Triumph-SC, forced to a long work to find the best package for the demanding Dutch track because the missing of previous data with the new bike.

Hard Working Day At Valencia For Team Triumph-SC

Team Triumph-SC spent the opening day of the third round of the World Supersport Championship at Valencia hard at work dialling in the Triumph 675 for the tight and twisty Spanish circuit. Having missed last months test at the track the team arrived with no previous data for the British machine and spent the two 45 minute sessions working on gear box and suspension settings in preparation for final qualifying on Saturday.

Triumph-SC To Prepare The European 600 Superstock Debut

The Scuderia Triumph-SC team is very busy to prepare the European 600 Superstock Championship start next April 5 in Valencia. The Italian squad made a two-day test on Mugello Circuit with the 675 Daytona in Superstock configuration. Talented British riders Tom Grant and Robbie Stewart, which will campaign the Scuderia Triumph- SC 675 in the 2008 European Superstock 600 series, could make a good job, despite the amateur’s traffic which crowded the track, also thank the splendid sunshine week end.

Haslam At The Double To Maintain Title Bid

Leon Haslam maintained his outside hopes of winning the Bennetts British Superbike crown with a penultimate round double victory at his local Donington Park circuit on a day of problems for the leading duo of Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jonathan Rea. Riding the Airwaves Ducati, Haslam was running fourth on an opening lap led by Chris Walker from Rea and the impressive Tom Sykes, but that was soon to change as the Derbyshire rider picked off places to be duelling for the lead with Rea.
