Mixed Result for Karl at Snetterton
16 June 2008
Karl Harris left round five of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton, today with mixed results. A wrong option of tyre choice for the opening race left the Rob Mac Racing Yamaha rider struggling with confidence in the front end of his Yamaha, around the fast Norfolk circuit. Having qualified his Rob Mac Racing Yamaha in 6th spot, Karl was relying on a strong opening to the race to take his challenge to the leaders. With the majority of the leading pack on Pirelli Diablo Superbike two tyres, Karl had opted for the harder three compound that he’d preferred during the free practice sessions.

Solid Progress for Harris
19 April 2008
Karl Harris will line up at the head of the second row for round two of the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Thruxton tomorrow, 20 April. The Rob Mac Racing Yamaha Superbike rider had topped two of the three Free Practice sessions, and looked odds-on to record his second front-row start of the season. However, with the final throws of the dice, Karl was nudged off the front row for the first time this weekend. A solid 1:20.372s lap on his final circulation after the chequered flag was enough to solidify fifth position ahead of Leon Camier (Airwaves Ducati).
