Pegram Places Third in Formula Xtreme After Two Restarts

It was a stormy weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. But despite the weather and two restarts it was Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati Team taking another third place finish, his third this season. The race at Road America was the sixth of the ten-race series. Pegram is currently in third place in the point's standings with 167 points, just three points away from second overall.

Pietri On The Superstock Podium at Road America

Team Roadracingworld.com overcame adversity to claim a tremendous double top-five result in this weekend's AMA Superstock race at Road America. The weekend started on a down note when Chris Ulrich, who entered the weekend ranked fourth in the Superstock points chase, was injured in a Thursday practice crash and was forced to join team-mate Santiago Villa on the shelf. However, former Latin American and Venezuelan Superbike champ Robertino Pietri and super-sub Michael Barnes came through and stepped up in his absence.

Mat Mladin Wins Road America 2nd Leg

Rockstar Makita Suzuki Factory Racing's Mat Mladin captured the win in the second of two AMA Superbike races at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, on Sunday. In spite of semi-wet conditions, six-time AMA Superbike Champion Mladin rode hard on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki GSXR-1000 and picked up his fourth win of the season and his 67th career AMA Superbike victory.

Record Breaking Win For Spies

Rockstar Makita Suzuki Factory Racing's Ben Spies won Saturday's AMA Superbike race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, which was a record breaking seventh AMA Superbike wins on the trot! The two-time AMA Superbike Champion was the pole-sitter in this race, the first of two in the double-header weekend, and led all 16 laps to victory on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki GSX-R1000. In addition to this being Spies' seventh win of the season, it also marks his 25th AMA Superbike career win.

High Hopes for Wisconsin Team SunTrust MOTO-ST Debut

Despite going into this weekend’s SunTrust MOTO-ST Series event at Road America with a new motorcycle and inexperienced road racers, KTM HMC team owner Mitch Hansen is full of optimism. Hansen’s squad will give KTM’s Super Duke R its series debut in the Buell Motorcycle Company SuperSport Twins (SST) class in the Road America 500K with 21-year-olds Troy Herfoss and Chris Fillmore handling the riding.

Yoshimura Suzuki dominated the first of two AMA Superbike races in the double-header weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Saturday. Six-time AMA Superbike Champion Mat Mladin won the 16-lap race and moved into the championship points lead while team mates Ben Spies and Tommy Hayden finished second and third, respectively. This victory is Mladin's sixth win of the year, his seventh Road America victory and his 57th career AMA Superbike win.

Team Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin and Ben Spies finished first and second in the Road America AMA Superbike double-header weekend’s Sunday race in Elkhart Lake as team mate Aaron Yates finished in sixth. The victory is Mladin’s 46th AMA Superbike career win and he’s the only rider to win six AMA Superbike races at Road America and both he and Spies have dominated all nine races on their GSX-R1000s this year.
