Ace Cafe Goes To Sturgis

The Ace Cafe will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary at Champions Park on Lazelle St. Dealer World Inc, publisher of American Motorcycle Dealer, Dealer World and International Dealer News magazines, as well as owner/operator of the AMD Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Ace Cafe London Ltd to bring the legendary gathering spot for millions of motorcyclists, the Ace Cafe, to Champions Park on Lazelle St. The Ace Cafe will be a part of the Champions Park entertainment complex along with The Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building, Champions Park vendor row and the S&S Cycle 50th Anniversary celebration.

KTM Rally Bikes More Dominant Than Ever

Before the start of the Central Europe Rally, many people were convinced this new rally would offer the best opportunity to finally break the dominance of the KTM Rally bikes. Short distances, tracks more suitable to enduro bikes and easy navigation. Despite these ingredients KTM choose to race the 690 Rally Bike, and the results proved them right.

David Casteu First Winner of the Central Europe Rally

A ‘moment supreme'! It was a memorable day for David Casteu at the shores of Lake Balaton. All he had to do in the last stage was to keep an eye on his main (and only) rival Francisco Lopez to make sure victory was his. And that's just what he did. It's David's first win in rally-raid, who's in his fourth season riding for KTM. He was drenched with champagne thanks to Alain Duclos and Francisco Lopez, when he came off the podium.

The competitors woke up yesterday morning with a clear sky and a very comfortable temperature. After the start from the Heroes'Square a liaison of 58 kilometer was scheduled. Cyril Despres was the first bike to ride of the podium.

Marc Coma Victorious In Las Pampas Rally

KTM Factory rider Marc Coma overcame snow, swollen rivers, dunes and lunar landscape desert to emerge triumphant in the South American Las Pampas Rally to now take firm hold of the world championship standings. It was Coma's third victory in four Las Pampas Rallies and follows up on his wins in the Sardinian and Tunisian Rallies for more valuable points in the World Cup. It was a well earned win after 4116 km of punishing riding and extreme conditions.

Motorcycle Action Group - 7000 Souls Defy Rain

Over 7000 hardy souls braved diabolical weather last weekend to make MAG’s 21st Farmyard Party Motorcycle Rally in North Yorkshire. Despite Met. Office warnings of extreme weather in the region, motorcycle riders poured into Duncombe Park close to the town of Helmsley.

KTM's Marc Coma dominates Tunisian Rally

KTM factory riders Marc Coma and David Casteu got off to a flying start in the World Championship taking 1-2 in the 2007 Tunisian Rally. The Spaniard’s victory was particularly sweet after he was denied a place in the 2007 Dakar classic after a crash in the final stages forced him to retire when he looked certain of snatching the top podium spot.

In the motorbike class, Marc Coma keeps the leadership despite some mechanical problems during today's special. Luc Alphand extends his overall UAE Desert Challenge lead. Frenchman Stéphane Peterhansel and co-driver Jean-Paul Cottret recorded the first ever stage win for the new MPR13 version of Mitsubishi’s new Pajero/Montero Evolution on its race debut in the UAE Desert Challenge, today. The victory on the car’s fourth day of competition moved Peterhansel and Cottret from fifth to second place overall. Defending Dakar Rally champions Luc Alphand and Gilles Picard extended Team Repsol Mitsubishi Ralliart’s outright lead in the UAE Desert Challenge by setting the second fastest time. They now lead their team mates by 22m 22s, with Jean-Louis Schlesser a distant third.

MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has entered the Rally New Zealand, the penultimate round of the world championship which takes place next month.The Camel Yamaha rider, currently second in the MotoGP standings with two races remaining, will race a Subaru Impreza S11 World Rally Car as a private entry.

Valentino Rossi, MotoGP World Champion has challenged Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso to a head-to-head battle on the track to see who is the quickest. The challenge, which Rossi said should be held in three different types of motorsport will decide who has the most skill and speed. Rossi's challenge came in response to Alonso's claim that he was unimpressed by Rossi's Formula One tests for Ferrari and felt it would be very hard for him to switch from two wheels to four. Alonso also stated that Rossi might finish fifth or even get on the podium in F1, but I could do the same in bikes if I was given enough time to practice.
