Lowry Takes Mallory Park Podium
Relentless Suzuki by TAS riders Ian Lowry and Michael Laverty can both take positives from Sunday’s BSB round at Mallory Park. Lowry secured a strong podium finish after a very wet British Supersport race in third place. Laverty’s results [11th and a DNF] do not reflect the strength of his performances at the Leicestershire venue. In race one, Laverty was in the front five fighting for the win but after being punted out of second place at Shaw’s Hairpin by Shane Byrne on lap 7, then getting caught out by backmarkers in the closing stages – the Toomebridge rider lost the front going into Charlie’s while holding a solid fifth place. He eventually remounted to finish 11th.

Solid Points for Laverty & Lowry at Snetterton
16 June 2008
Relentless Suzuki riders Michael Laverty and Ian Lowry both scored solid points in their respective British Championship classes [Superbike and Supersport] earlier today at Snetterton in Norfolk. Laverty finished his first race in an impressive sixth; then in a wet second race, Michael made his way through the field after a poor start to again finish in a solid sixth position. Unfortunately, Laverty had used the best of his wet weather Pirelli tyre chasing down the leaders, and having been as high as fourth at one stage, the current British Supersport champion’s first BSB podium on the Relentless Suzuki cannot be too far away.

Cameron Donald Second in Senior TT Thriller
07 June 2008
Cameron Donald and Bruce Anstey both left an indelible mark on today’s prestigious six-lap Senior TT on the Isle of Man. On his GSX–R1000 K8 Relentless Suzuki Superbike [a bike Anstey said, was the best he’s ever ridden] the flying Kiwi led at the end of laps one and two, before being forced to retire in pit lane with a broken chain. His teammate Cameron Donald then took the challenge to John McGuinness with the lead swapping between the pair on more than five occasions during the six-lap thriller. But with only one lap remaining, Donald’s Relentless Suzuki began leaking oil from a crankcase wound, caused by the constant pounding at the bottom of Barragarrow. Not content to pull out of the race, the 30-year-old Aussie nursed his ‘sick’ Suzuki home in a valiant effort that was rewarded with second place in the world’s highest profile pure road race.

Justice for Anstey on the Mountain
06 June 2008
Bruce Anstey put the disappointed of Monday’s supersport race firmly behind him, taking an emphatic 34 second victory in the Relentless Supersport TT Race 2 earlier today. Anstey and Ian Hutchinson couldn’t be separated at the end of the opening lap, but the 39-year-old Kiwi dropped the hammer on lap two, opening up an eight second lead, also recording a new lap record of 125.359mph. From there in, Bruce’s GSX–R600 Relentless Suzuki never missed a beat and the quietly spoken Kiwi took the chequered flag and his seventh Isle of Man TT victory. The win also completed the set for TAS Racing, having now won every available solo four stroke class in TT racing history.

Luckless Anstey Robbed of Victory
05 June 2008
Bruce Anstey’s start to finish victory in today’s Relentless Supersport TT race one, where he also set a new lap record, has unfortunately been overturned by the organisers after a technical infringement. An after-market part, not supplied by Suzuki, was discovered to be outside the tolerance levels set by the TT organisers for the supersport class.

Donald ‘Doubles Up’ at Isle of Man TT
05 June 2008
Cameron Donald gave Relentless Suzuki win number two at TT 2008 taking the Superstock victory in a four-lap thriller on the Mountain Circuit earlier today. The 30-year-old Aussie took a slender one second lead going onto lap two; he then increased that advantage to 15 seconds over the next three laps, handing Suzuki their seventh Superstock TT victory in as many years. Bruce Anstey was the pre-race favourite but a heavy cold left the Kiwi feeling less than one hundred percent and he retired at the end of the second lap.

Suzuki Domination in Superbike TT
02 June 2008
It was an all Suzuki podium in today’s TT Superbike race on the Isle of Man with Aussie Cameron Donald taking his first ever Mountain Circuit victory. His Relentless Suzuki teammate Bruce Anstey followed him home in second place, with former TAS Suzuki pilot Adrian Archibald in third – a clean sweep for the K8 GSX–R1000 TAS Performance prepared Suzukis. This also maintains TAS Racing’s one-hundred percent record at the TT, with every rider on their books, since Norman Brown, making a trip to the top step on Glencrutchery Road. Guy Martin was the early race leader, but Donald was relentless in his pursuit of the Lincolnshire rider, taking over at the front on lap 4 when Martin retired at Sulby. Both Relentless Suzuki riders circulated together from as early as lap three, and when they eventually crossed the line at the end of six laps and 226 miles of racing, they were only separated by 10 seconds at the head of the field.

Lowry Shows World Class Form
27 May 2008
Ian Lowry put his GSX–R600 Relentless Suzuki on the top step of the podium at Donington Park earlier today, after a titanic battle with World Supersport riders Jonathan Rea and Andrew Pitt. It was a welcome return to the front of the pack for Lowry who spent the entire race mixing it with the Ten Kate duo crossing the line in third place. Due to an infringement with the rules, both Ten Kate riders were subsequently disqualified, giving Lowry the win – nothing more than he deserved after a masterful performance.

A G’Day for Donald at the Triangle
20 May 2008
Relentless Suzuki by TAS rider Cameron Donald made a strong international debut for the Moneymore based team at Saturday’s Kennedy International North West 200 with a brace of podium finishes. The Australian rider, in only his third North West 200, narrowly lost out to Steve Plater in the blue Riband superbike race after being block-passed into the penultimate chicane at Juniper Hill by BSB regular Michael Rutter. This let Plater slip through to take the victory. Ironically, Donald suffered the same fate, at the same chicane, on the final lap of the CP Hire Superstock race, when a Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing ‘one–two’ looked almost inevitable. When the chequered flag was unfurled it was Alastair Seeley who took the win with Anstey second and Donald third – a double podium for Relentless Suzuki.

Laverty Closing in on BSB Podium
13 May 2008
Michael Laverty continued his impressive superbike form on the Relentless Suzuki GSX–R1000 at Brands Hatch earlier today, with a fourth placed finish in race two. In race one, after a superb start, Laverty forced his way through to third before unfortunately crashing out at Druids when hot on the heels of Tom Sykes in second place. Ian Lowry had a tough weekend but battled bravely in today’s supersport race with a shoulder injury. Unfortunately Lowry just lost out on a points scoring finish after being forced to start his race from pit lane, due to a front brake problem on the warm-up lap.

Normally used to running only two riders in one class within the series, it was a busy day for the Relentless Suzuki team competing in four races at Thruxton. All eyes were on the team’s BSB debut and Michael Laverty did them proud after having to deal with tyre problems in race one.

Laverty Simply Sublime At Cadwell
28 August 2007
Michael Laverty firmly cemented his place at the top of the British Supersport standings earlier today after a faultless performance on his GSX–R600 Relentless Suzuki, taking his tally to five wins for the season. Laverty also recorded the fastest lap of the race and now sits on 190 points, 37 ahead of nearest challenger Dennis Hobbs [153 points]. Team-mate Ian Lowry was unfortunately forced to retire from third place after only six laps, when a missed gear change caused his engine to over-rev. He now drops to third place in the series behind Hobbs on 149 points.

Lowry Podium At Croft For Relentless Suzuki
14 August 2007
It was a day of mixed emotions at Croft in North Yorkshire for the Relentless Suzuki team, when series leader Michael Laverty suffered a minor electrical problem that put him out of actions after 10 laps while lying in second place. Team-mate Ian Lowry put in a strong performance leading for 17 of the 18 laps, only to be mugged within the final few corners by eventual winner Billy McConnell and Dennis Hobbs. Third place on the podium gave Lowry a further 16 points, closing the gap on Laverty in the championship, also by 16 points with three rounds remaining.

Double Delight For Relentless Suzuki In Mallory
24 July 2007
It was lucky number ‘13’ for the Relentless Suzuki British Supersport team, when Michael Laverty and Ian Lowry collected champagne bottles number 12 and 13 for the season to date at Mallory Park. Laverty stalked both Lowry and early race leader Dennis Hobbs for just over two-thirds distance, before pulling the pin to take the hard-fought victory. Lowry, who himself lead the race for three laps, rode superbly holding off Dennis Hobbs to take second place and 20 very valuable championship points.

Laverty Increases Championship Lead at Oulton
17 July 2007
Michael Laverty increased his series lead at round 8 of the British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park, when survival was the order of the day in horrendous conditions at the Cheshire venue. Finishing in fourth place, Michael now leads Relentless Suzuki team-mate Ian Lowry by 27 points, and Honda rival Dennis Hobbs in third, by 33 points. Having qualified on the front row in fourth position in dry conditions on Saturday, Michael was happy with his race pace, but like everyone else in the paddock, the Toomebridge rider was well aware of the inclement conditions that he would face on Sunday.

Laverty Back In Business At Knockhill
02 July 2007
Michael Laverty got back to winning ways at Knockhill in Scotland on his Pirelli shod Relentless Suzuki, increasing his lead in the Maxxis British Supersport championship to 19 points over team-mate Ian Lowry, who finished fifth at the end of 20 laps in changeable conditions. Only two weeks ago at Mondello Park in Ireland, Laverty was robbed of his perfect ‘podium at every round’ record, but the normally mild-mannered Toomebridge man said the gloves would be off for the rest of the season. Having topped all but one leaderboard all weekend, Laverty was nothing short of prolific, and a shrewd tyre choice [full wet set-up] on the grid for the race certainly helped his cause.
