Mixed Fortunes for Dudley at Pembrey

Adam Dudley, once again riding for The Fireplace Warehouse, achieved a mixed set of results aboard his Honda RS125 in round ten of the Thundersport GP3 series at Pembrey last weekend. Dudley took advantage of the Friday practice day, in an attempt to gain valuable set up information and circuit knowledge. In the process, he elected to change the rear shock absorber, and made the switch to Bridgestone tyres, which improved the corner speed, and left him happy with his day’s work, and confident for the weekend. Over the two qualifying sessions held during Saturday, Dudley improved his times, resulting in him being placed 4th, on the outside of the front row.

Extra IXON Track Day Announced

The overwhelming response and success of the debut IXON Track/Fun Day at Cadwell Park (22nd April) has prompted Thunderchild to add an extra date this summer taking it to three complete days. Pembrey Circuit in Wales, the home of Welsh Motorsport, will now host the second IXON Track/Fun Day during the height of summer on 24th July. All you need to take part in the action-packed day is own a full motorcycle road or ACU racing licence, and your bike to comply with the 105db noise limit. Oh, not forgetting your IXON leather suit!

Round 5 – Pembrey; Warren Claims Overall Title As Mitchell Blasts Back Into Contention

Sam Warren on his SR Off-Road prepared Aprilia UK SXV 550 claimed the title of 2006 Overall Moto GB British Supermotard Champion at Pembrey after winning the Superfinal, albeit a puncture having sidelined arch rival Ady Smith on his KTM UK LC4 660 during their furious battle for the outright honours.
