‘Young Guns’ Feature In New TT Races Promotion

The Isle of Man Department of Tourism and Leisure has created a new TT advertising campaign to promote the 2008 TT races. The campaign, which will appear in national, bike and lifestyle media, and online, features some of the younger TT riders in iconic spots around the course. It will run from November to May 2008. Riders featured include Guy Martin, Ian Hutchinson, James Hillier, Gary Johnson, William Dunlop, Martin Finnegan, Ollie Linsdell and Manx rider Conor Cummins. Locations chosen include Kate’s Cottage, Sulby Straight, Kirk Michael, Ballaugh Bridge and Joey’s.

New Agencies & Motorsport Development Manager to promote IoM TT '06'

The Isle of Man Department of Tourism and Leisure has appointed a new agency to develop the commercialism of the TT, re-define the branding and promote the races to a wider audience. The department has also appointed Paul Phillips to the position of TT and Motorsport Development Manager.

Italian Duo Set To Make TT Debut

Italian riders Angelo Conti and Roberto Antonellini hope to make their debuts at this years Isle of Man TT Races in the Junior and Senior races, continuing the resurgence in interest from the European country. With riders like Stefano Bonetti, Umberto Rumiano, Giorgio Cantalupo and David Vieder having excelled in recent years, the addition of two more top Italian racers to the entry continues to give the event a truly International feel.
