Tinmouth Takes Positives from Silverstone!

Jenny Tinmouth made further progress in her debut season in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship, last weekend, at the famous circuit of Silverstone, Northants. She secured sixth place of the Cup competitors, and 29th position overall, in the penultimate round of the highly competitive series, promoting her to equal seventh place in the Cup. Having never ridden the 2.21 mile Silverstone International circuit before on her Honda CBR600RR, Friday was to be very much a learning experience. However, over the two free practice sessions, Tinmouth improved her times by almost two seconds, leaving her feeling quite pleased with her day’s work.

Bid For a Special Edition MV Agusta F4 RR 312 Motorcycle

The organisers of the MCI BEN Golf Tournament will be holding a special auction on the 30 July which is being held during their Golf Tournament Dinner, at Staverton Park Golf Club in Daventry, Northants. In association with MotoGB, the UK importers and distributors of the MV Agusta Brand, Benelli, Cagiva and Keeway, the organisers will be presenting a pre-registered MV Agusta, F4 RR 312 motorcycle for auction. This newly launched sports motorcycle is unique as it has been signed on the fuel tank by Giacomo Agostini, 15 times World Motorcycle Grand Prix Champion.

Join the MCE Insurance Ride Out!

Those very friendly people at MCE Insurance have teamed up with Pure Triumph of Wellingborough to support the 2008 'National Ride to Work Day' next week on Wednesday 16th July. Ride to Work day has been running for some years now and is a day for all Bike and Scooter users to join forces and ride to work, ideally with a pillion to share the experience of going to work on two-wheels.
