Racing Legends Fogarty and Whitham Team Up

Foggy will take the stage with his old friend and rival on Tuesday October 20th, at the Club Amadeus in Northallerton, DL6 1NH.

Quay Garage Racing Crowned 2009 Mirror.co.uk Cup Champions

Quay Garage Racing rider Gary Mason completed a superb weekend of racing for the team at the Croft round of the 2009 MCE British Superbike Championship. Free Practice 1 saw Mason go fourth fastest on the Quay Garage machine behind BSB championship leader Camier, Easton and the newly appointed Hydrex Honda rider Tommy Hill.

Tinmouth Takes Her First Supersport Cup Podium!

Riding her sorrymate.com Honda CBR600RR, a delighted Jenny Tinmouth has secured her first ever British Supersport Cup podium over the recent weekend at Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. Tinmouth had ridden consistently well all weekend, and her efforts in the race had rewarded her with a fourth place finish, but due to another rider being taken out of the results following post race technical checks, she was promoted to third place, a result that consolidates her sixth position in the standings.

Guintoli Ends Tough Weekend on a Positive

With a scorecard that reads DNF-13, this weekend's racing from Croft, round 10 of the British Superbike Championship, marks a low point in the season for Worx Crescent Suzuki. However, changes made to chassis for the second race provided a significantly improved set-up that gives the team every reason to be positive about prospects for the final two rounds of the championship.

Progression for Centurion Racing

Progression was made this weekend for Centurion Racing at round 10 of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Championship at Croft this weekend. The two riders Dan Cooper and BJ Toal gained a solid sixth and 13th place respectively in the 18-lap race around the fast 2.1-mile circuit.

Billy McConnell took a hard fought second place at round ten of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship at Croft in North Yorkshire today. - Nikki Coates aboard his MAP Raceways Yamaha raced to fourth place during the tenth round of the Metzeler National Superstock 600 race at Croft in North Yorkshire today.

GSE Racing Clinch 5th BSB Title

The Airwaves Yamaha pair of Leon Camier and James Ellison today ensured they are the only riders who can still win the coveted 2009 British Superbike Championship. Series leader Leon recovered from a 6th in Race One to win Race Two. His teammate James came away with a 2nd and a 4th. Today's results mean that GSE Racing, the team behind Airwaves Yamaha, has already secured a record fifth BSB title.

Podium Progress for LPE Kawasaki Across The Country

The weather had a distinct tinge of winter about it as Kawasaki Motors UK's official team, LPE Kawasaki, went racing this past weekend. The majority of the team decamped to Whitby in North Yorkshire, while Kristian Whatley drove down the M4 motorway towards the iconic Foxhills track in Wiltshire. On both sides of the country it had rained extensively leading up to the weekend, but up north the conditions on Sunday turned out perfect.

HM Plant Honda head to Croft for sponsor’s ‘home’ race

Riders Leon Haslam, Cal Crutchlow and Steve Brogan are looking forward to podium finishes from this weekend’s Croft races. The North Yorkshire circuit is the ‘home’ round of title sponsor HM Plant, so all three will be aiming to impress at the 2.12-mile circuit. This weekend could see Steve Brogan take the Metzeler National Superstock title. The Liverpool ace needs just five points from Sunday’s 15-lap race, and he knows that despite two rounds remaining after this weekend, a solid result would earn him the title.

Just Another Step in the Right Direction for MV Agusta

Having made further developments to the MV Agusta F4 1000 the STP Motorsport MV Agusta team took the opportunity to get some track time at Croft this week. A further increase in horsepower and a change of ignition system where the major items that needed to be tried under race conditions. The change to the Motec ignition package has released a few extra horsepower and, combined with some engine development since Cadwell Park, Chris Burns was eager to get out on to a track that he has not ridden in competition for some time. Thankfully, the first session was dry and allowed the team to get a good number of laps in.

World Champions Descend on Northallerton

Following confirmation from the Hannspree Ten Kate team, five of the best motorcycle racers in the world will descend on Northallerton in North Yorkshire this Wednesday night (3rd September) when the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club 'World Superbike Night' takes place at Club Amadeus in the town. Headlining the bill is the multiple World Championship winning Hannspree Ten Kate Honda Team who are in the UK just prior to the eleventh round of the World Superbike Championship meeting which takes place at Donington Park over the weekend of 5/6/7th September. Former MotoGP star Carlos Checa is enjoying a fantastic first season in WSB and the Spanish rider knows all about the region as he had a property in Great Ayton when racing for the works Yamaha team!
