The third round of the season for the Championship and the first with a full paddock at Valencia. In the SBK class Max Neukirchner, in the SSP Andrew Pitt and even in the two Stock classes: there were new track record in all the classes and several more riders were under the previous records.

Yamaha Intent On Closing Gap At Vallelunga
26 September 2007
This Sunday sees the penultimate round take place at Vallelunga, near Rome in Italy and, with only two rounds to go and 41 points separating Haga from first place, this race is key to Yamaha's fight for the championship. The previous round at Lausitz could well prove to be a corner stone in Haga's title fight as he took a win and second place, cutting the gap between him and first place by 25 points. The impact of this result will only really be understood after this weekend's race.

Yamaha Set For Czech Triumph
18 July 2007
The World Superbike Championship goes to Brno this weekend for the ninth round in the 2007 season. Since the last race at Misano in June, the teams have been in the thick of testing at Brno and Vallelunga and are now raring to clarify their race winning potential again. There has been a race circuit at Brno since the 1930s and it first hosted a motorcycle world championship in 1965, though this year will only be the fifth time the World Superbike Championship has stopped at the Czech circuit. Its first appearance on the calendar was in 1993, then 1996 and then it didn't reappear until 2005 when it was the scene of Yamaha's first WSB win, with Haga taking the honour for the team when he went from 18th to win with over three seconds lead.

This weekend Misano hosts the eighth round of the 2007 World Superbike Championship and the Yamaha Motor Italia Team is fully focused and raring for more success following their second and third positions at Silverstone two weeks ago. Bad weather conditions meant the second race was cancelled, preventing the team from taking further points away. This was only the third time a superbike race has been cancelled in the championship's twenty-year history.

Yamaha Looking To Follow Monza Wins At Silverstone
22 May 2007
The seventh round of the World Superbike Championship will be held this weekend at Silverstone and the Yamaha Motor Italia WSB Team goes there positive and determined after Haga's success at the last round in Monza where he took the double win. Silverstone is the second of three UK rounds on the WSB calendar this year and comes at the halfway point in the season. Silverstone is relatively new on the championship calendar - it has only been going there since 2002 - but the circuit has excellent facilities as it also hosts the British F1 Grand Prix.
