Brands Hatch Launches Supermoto Circuit

Places now available for Club MSV’s first Supermoto trackday on new circuit. Club MSV, the trackday division of MotorSport Vision, will host its first ever Supermoto trackday on Tuesday 24 February on the newly-constructed Brands Hatch Supermoto circuit. The 1.2km ACU-licenced track is situated on the Brands Hatch rally course and comprises of 90 percent tarmac with small sections of dirt. Club MSV will host the Kent circuit’s inaugural Supermoto event, with separate sessions for novice, intermediate and advanced riders.

Club MSV Bike Trackdays - November 2008 Update

Due to the overwhelming success of the Supermoto Only Trackday at Cadwell Park last month, we’ve decided to give Supermoto riders some more exclusive track time. The date is Wednesday 17th December and the price is just £59 and this time, it’s at Brands Hatch!

Brands Hatch Not Included on the FIM SBK Provisional 2009 Calendar

Brands Hatch has not been included on the FIM World Superbike provisional 2009 calendar issued today, 20 October 2008. A round of the World Superbike Championship has taken place at the Kent circuit every year since 1993. Jonathan Palmer, Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision, said: “Of course it is very disappointing not to have World Superbikes on the calendar for Brands Hatch next year but I have not been able to agree terms with the promoters of WSB, the Italian-based FG Sport company, run by Paolo and Maurizio Flammini. “It is obviously their business to obtain the highest fees possible from circuits for having a WSB event but unfortunately FG Sport has demanded a fee over twice as much as MSV paid in 2008, which seems strange given the very obvious global economic crisis.

Eurosport Extends British Superbike Championship Deal

Eurosport will broadcast the British Superbike Championship (BSB) for a further two seasons after renewing its exclusive live rights deal with MotorSport Vision this week. The digital sports channel had the exclusive live rights to the 12-round BSB championship in 2008 and used the series to develop British Eurosport 2 in the UK market. The new two-year deal will continue to give the exciting BSB series extensive TV airtime, with a 4-hour live show produced at each of the 12 rounds, featuring both BSB races, the British Supersport Championship and additional support races. Raceday highlights will also be shown in primetime and repeated throughout the week. On Thursday nights “British Superbikes Extra” features the British 125 GP, National Superstock and KTM RC8 Championships.

Club MSV Bike Trackdays - October 2008 update

October Bike Trackday Update - There are still plenty of opportunities to get out on circuit in 2008! The year is not over yet – particularly if you have a supermoto machine. Our Supermoto Only Trackday at Cadwell Park is on Friday 31 October and is just £49 per rider. Set on the tight and twisty Woodland Circuit at Cadwell, it’s perfect for all riders of these corner happy machines!

British Stars Set to Take on the World at Brands

Brands Hatch is delighted to announce that British wildcards will be back at this year’s UK round of the HANNspree SBK Superbike World Championship on 1st/2nd/3rd August! The following three riders have confirmed they’ll be taking on the best in the world at the Kent circuit next month, Rizla Suzuki's Tom Skyes, Lloyds British Jentin Yamaha's Simon Andrews and Ulster man Eugene Laverty who will be riding for Vent Axia VK Honda.

Test Ride an Aprilia with Club MSV

Club MSV - MotorSport Vision’s in-house trackday company - has confirmed two trackdays in association with Aprilia at Oulton Park on the 13th August and Brands Hatch on the 23rd September that will allow bike enthusiasts the chance to sample an Aprilia free of charge. You can now try before you buy at MotorSport Vision race circuits. Riders who book onto these exclusive events will not only be able to explore their own bike’s potential on two of the most challenging and exciting race tracks in the country, but will also have the opportunity sample a selection of the Italian manufacturer’s new 2008 range.

The countdown is now on to one of the biggest bike racing events on the planet: the HANNspree SBK Superbike World Championship round at Brands Hatch sponsored by Bennetts. To help you keep up to date with all the latest news, MotorSport Vision has created an online site dedicated to this unique event. Everything you need to know about the Brands Hatch WSB round can be found by visiting motorsportvision.co.uk. The site will be regularly updated and will feature news and general information about the weekend including camping, hospitality and directions to the circuit. Former double WSB champion Troy Bayliss will be hoping that with the backing of his UK fans he can take a double victory on his final races at the Kent circuit and move a step closer to sealing his third crown.

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Snetterton on 13th-15th June is the perfect present for fathers who love all things fast and furious. With its super-quick straights, BSB Snetterton is a must-see event for anyone who enjoys watching brilliantly entertaining motorsport! If your father always tells you that ‘things were much better in his day’, take him on a trip down memory lane with the Vintage Sports Car Festival at Oulton Park on Saturday 14th June. The event will celebrate 50 years since Mike Hawthorn became the first British Formula 1 Champion, with racing action from classic Formula 1 cars and vintage sportscars.

Club MSV: Cadwell Trackday Incorporates Free Buell Test Ride

MotorSport Vision’s trackday division, Club MSV, is hosting an event at Cadwell Park on 4th June in association with Buell UK, and bike enthusiasts will have the unique chance to sample a Buell free of charge at the circuit nicknamed the ‘Mini-Nurburgring’. Riders who book on to this event will not only be able to ride their own machine on circuit, but they will also have the opportunity appraise a selection of the American manufacturer’s new 2008 range.

HM Plant Honda Applauds ‘Awesome’ Fans

Heavy snow today at Brands Hatch led to the cancellation of the first round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. The weather took a turn for the worse in the morning at around 7am before the day’s schedule had even begun. With heavy snow falling, by 11.15am the decision was taken by race control in concert with circuit owners/promoters MotorSport Vision to cancel the day’s proceedings and re-schedule the race weekend for 10th-11th May

Brands Hatch BSB Abandoned Today
06 April 2008
Extensive snowfalls at Brands Hatch this morning have caused the opening round of the Bennetts British Superbike championship to be abandoned. At 11.15am Sunday morning Jonathan Palmer, Chief Executive of MotorSport Vision, the owner of Brands Hatch, announced that following a review of circuit conditions and the latest forecast, the meeting would be canceled for the day.
