Granferro 1200, A Fun-Bike Without Compromise

Moto Morini revealed their eagerly awaited Granferro 'hypermotard' at the Milan motorcycle show. Billed as a "fun bike without compromise" it is powered by the Italian manufacturer's exuberant twin-cylinder CorsaCorta 1187cc V-Twin, featuring forged pistons measuring 107 mm - the largest ever manufactured for a bike in this category - with a stroke of 66 mm.

Moto Morini Celebrating Victory in 2008 Italian Roadster Cup

Franco Zenatello, riding a Corsaro Veloce for team GT Racing of Venice, sealed the championship with a win at the Franciacorta circuit, where he demonstrated once again that he is the fastest off the line. This result is even more impressive as he only raced in four out of the five rounds. Not only did Zenatello achieve a podium finish in every race in which he competed on the Moto Morini Corsaro, three of those were first places.

Moto Morini Avio & 1200 Sport Due In UK Spring 2008

Moto Morini will introduce two new models this spring, with another two due to follow later in the year, expanding the range of machines available to UK riders from three to seven. First to arrive on British roads will be the Avio, a version of the Corsaro designed specially for those riding a potent V-twin for the first time. Its Corsacorta Bialbero 1187 cc twin-cylinder engine has been optimized to deliver 120 hp to the shaft (compared to 140 hp on the standard model) and offer a full-bodied, fluid thrust at low revs, with 102 Nm of torque.
