World Record Smashed at the Bash

Visitors to the 23rd annual Bulldog Bash saw a new world record today (Friday), as Eric Teboul hurtled down the quarter mile Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford, on board his hydrogen peroxide fuelled drag-bike, at an incredible 233mph in just 5.48 seconds.

The Bulldog Bash Licence Review – Police Application Rejected

Stratford Council have rejected Warwickshire Police’s application for a licence review. It appears the application did not contain sufficient grounds to warrant a review to overturn last year’s decision, which had extended the licence until 2018.

14th International Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Meeting

Sunday the 7th of September the 14th International Aermacchi Harley-Davidson Meeting will be held at the MV Agusta company headquarters in Schiranna (Varese), Italy. The meeting will be orgnaised by the "Alfredo Bianchi" historical registry for Aermacchi motorcycles. The meeting will celebrate the return of Harley-Davidson in Schiranna. In fact, on the 8th of August Harley-Davidson acquired MV Agusta and Cagiva, becoming owner of the company that was once under its control exactly 30 years ago.

LAA Charity Money Hand-Over & New LB Charity Council!

A big hand-over of money to the London Air Ambulance (LAA) which our members helped raise at the 2007 LB Christmas Party, and the formation of a new LB aspect, the Charity Council, a group charged with bringing great new charity fund-raising efforts to LB. For the hand-over, you're invited! We're holding it at next week's LB Borough Market Meet on the 27th. Come along!
