Presented to Lloyd Cooper Motorcycles and George White Superbike Centres, the awards highlighted the outstanding success and overall achievement of both dealerships in their respective categories.

Ducati UK is pleased to announce that the new Ducati Monster 1100S and 1198S have arrived at all 31 Ducati dealerships throughout the UK. The Monster 1100 and 1198 hailed throughout the media since their respective launches are now available to test ride at Ducati outlets nationwide. The arrival of the new 1100 S is the latest addition to the successful Monster family that includes the Monster 696, the quickest selling Monster in UK history, and the new 1100S and soon to follow ‘standard’ 1100 are expected to follow in a similar vein.

Award Winning Ducati Prepares for MCN London Show

Ducati heads towards the Capital for the MCN London Motorcycle Show on the back of yet another award winning year. 2008 saw the introduction of their strongest ever line-up which culminated in Ducati being crowned the MCN Manufacturer of the year and awarded Machine of the year for the legendry Desmosedici RR. Amongst the highlights of the Show will be the new Streetfighter making its London debut at ExCel in Docklands. The 1098 powered naked bike boasts 155hp and with the Ducati Traction control and data logging as standard on the ‘S’ version, this will arguably become the most technologically advanced naked bike on the market when it hits showrooms in the Spring.

New ‘James Bond’ Style World Record Attempt to Take Place at the MCN London Show

The count down has begun to London’s biggest motorcycle event, the MCN London Motorcycle Show 2009, which takes place at ExCeL London from 29th January – 1st February. MCN are pleased to announce an amazing addition to the Carole Nash Live Action Arena where renowned stunt man Terry Grant aims to beat a world record by two wheeling his Honda Civic Type R into a narrow gap, a record originally set in the James Bond film, Diamonds Are Forever. Terry previously smashed James Bond’s world record - to drive a car through the smallest gap by 68cm plus the height of a car (on two wheels) - but at this year’s MCN London Motorcycle Show, he is going for gold by attempting to manoeuvre his machine into an even smaller space!

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Scoops Yet More Awards

Honda’s all-conquering CBR1000RR Fireblade has won the Motor Cycle News award for Best Sportsbike over 601cc. At a star-studded Motor Cycle News Awards ceremony last night, Honda was presented with the award, which recognises the Fireblade as the machine of the year in the fiercely fought litre supersports class. There to pick up the award from comedian Alan Davies and MCN editor Marc Potter was Steve Martindale, General Manager of Honda (UK) Motorcycles.

Britain’s Got Biking Talent Climaxes at NEC

Britain’s best custom bikes, as voted for by thousands of UK motorcyclists, are set to be revealed this Thursday (November 27th) as Britain’s Got Biking Talent climaxes at the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show. Organised by Carole Nash, the UK’s biggest bike insurance specialist, and bikers’ bible Motor Cycle News, the competition attracted hundreds of entries and nearly 20,000 votes from the great British biking public. The entries that flooded in from across the nation spanned the biking spectrum pitting custom against classic, racer against roadster. Now the day of reckoning is drawing near after the judges – who included MCN editor Marc Potter, controversial Daily Telegraph and MCN columnist, Kevin Ash and top UK customiser Roger Allmond – whittled down the top 50 bikes voted for by the public to the winning dozen.

Excel Shows Proves a Success for Centurion Racing

The team took time out from their busy preparation for the new season, where they are running Dennis Hobbs, James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper in the British Supersport series, to give their support to the London show.
