MotoGP's Toseland Helps Local Biker Win a Years Free Riding

Christmas has come early for Northampton resident, Marc Nelson, who has become one of five lucky recipients of a year’s free motorbike insurance from Bennetts. The factory machine operator scooped a year’s free cover, in part thanks to MotoGP star James Toseland, who was visiting the Bennetts call centre as part of the promotion on the day that Marc won. As the nation struggles in the grip of the credit crunch, Bennetts, the nation’s favourite bike insurance provider, has been saving bikers money throughout April by re-imbursing five motorbike insurance policies daily. As part of the unprecedented giveaway, Marc’s was one of the five policies refunded on 8th April, meaning he will save a whopping £795.01 on his policy over the next year.

The Babes Are Back!

After months of scouring the country and much anticipation within the biking world, the Bennetts Babes squad for the 2008 season has been unveiled. The gorgeous grid girls will live life in the fast lane over the next 12 months, representing Bennetts at British and World Superbike Championship events, as well as taking part in a string of glamorous photoshoots. The nation’s favourite bike insurance provider launched the 2008 Bennetts Babes search, now in its fifth year, with model and former High Street Honey Kayleigh Pearson and this year saw record numbers of hopefuls enter the competition.

Norwich Is The ‘New Rome’

Norwich, the city famous for Delia Smith and Colman’s mustard has been dubbed the UK’s answer to Rome after being named Britain’s ‘Scooter Capital’ by Bennetts, the nation’s favourite bike insurer. With almost one in 20 Norwich residents owning or riding a scooter, it’s still some way behind the Italian capital where one in six take to a moped, although it seems Norfolk’s scooter commuters are hot on the Italian’s designer heels and are predicted to overtake them by the year 2020.

Toseland Hits The Phones

British biking hero and MotoGP star James Toseland will launch a month-long promotion for Bennetts, the nation’s favourite bike insurance provider, by working in their Coventry contact centre on Tuesday 8th April. James, a classically trained pianist, will be using a different type of keyboard for the day as he works alongside staff at the insurance provider’s contact centre, talking to customers who have taken out a policy on the day.

The world’s leading domestic Superbike series will continue to be known as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship for the fourth consecutive year. The UK’s premier bike insurance provider has agreed a title sponsorship deal of the series with new championship rights holders MotorSport Vision.
