Waderacing at Castle Combe 16/17 August 08 - New Era Superclub
21 August 2008
Another new track faced the Team this weekend and with tension building in the F600 championship between Marcus Wade and Mark Cronshore things could not be much closer. The weekend began with a light dusting of rain. Wade entered the track for the first ever time for the first qualifying session, SOT (Sound of Thunder). The team placed the 675 in a good 6th position with only local riders and an ex Castle Combe instructor ahead. By the second trip to the track Wade had learnt a little about the motocross nature of the circuit, in that it was very bumpy! With an intermediate tyre choice he poled the 675 on the final lap despite the drying conditions and that all his rivals had swapped to their second ‘dry’ bikes halfway through the session!

Wade Dominates Donington
14 August 2008
The 9th and 10th of August saw host to one round of New Eras Club and one round of Superclub at Donington Park. Saturday was a Club day, the weather was far from ideal with driving rain and strong winds. Marcus Wade took to the track for the only dry session of the day, SOT qualifying. After a few laps to familiarise himself with Donington again put the 675 in a solid 2nd position. Next came F600 qualifying the track was damp and very slippery Wade put the 675 in 4th.

Wildcard Wade Gets a Respectable 28th in BSS
24 July 2008
27 year old Marcus Wade is in his second full season on a Triumph Daytona 675. In 2008 he is challenging not just for the New Era F600 and Sound of Thunder Championships, but also as four wildcard entries at British Supersport. Here is his race report from Oulton Park at the weekend. The first practice session was wet and Wade set to the track looking forward to riding in these conditions. For the first 10 mins of the session Wade topped the time sheets, becoming consistently quicker. Half way though the session he pitted to fit a intermediate front and dry rear as the track had dried too much. Again, he kept in the top 20 with the drying conditions, then pitting for fuel with eight mins to go only to find a technical issue that needed to be resolved. As the track was drying he dropped down in the final mins the order ending 32nd. The next session presented difficult conditions due to the mix of dry and damp sections of track.

MKW Announces Two Man Rider Line-Up For 2008
12 February 2008
2008 will see the newly formed MKW Suspension field a two man team focusing on British Superbike in the Junior Superstock class and the New Era Superclub Formula 600 Championship. The new Triumph team will be run by Chris Moore, owner of the newly formed business MKW Suspension. The busy year will see Chris not only with a new business venture but take two relatively new riders and nurture them in the British championships. Moore is keen to dispel the myth that suspension is a ‘black art’, offering race engineering services through practical workshops to understand your motorcycle. Moore has previously worked with Centurion Honda and was instrumental in helping Pete Spalding to the 2006 British Supersport Cup title and won the 2007 New Era Superclub 600 Championship with RLR Motorsport and Steve Tomes.
