Walker To Meet Fans At Manchester's Dainese D-Store

The 'People's favourite' Chris 'Stalker' Walker will be in Manchester on Saturday December 8th to meet his fans. The four-time British Superbike Championship runner-up will be at Dainese's flagship D-Store at 15.00hrs to meet fans, talk bikes and sign autographs. The super-popular rider from Nottingham has ridden competitively for over 15 years and has campaigned Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Petronas and Ducati both home and abroad.

Maria Costello To Head Up Lancashire’s RideSafe BackSafe Initiative

Maria Costello, fastest lady around the Isle of Man TT circuit, is to become an Ambassador for the RideSafe BackSafe initiative in the North West region. The initiative is run by the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety and Lancashire Constabulary and is also supported by Greater Manchester Police, together with motoring organisations such as IAM, MAG and BMF.

Motorcycling to Face Congestion Charges

The Motorcycle Action Group (MAG UK) says that proposals contained in Manchester’s congestion charging scheme to charge motorcycles are the thin end of the wedge as cities in the UK wait in line to implement future national road pricing plans. MAG is amazed that the authorities in Manchester have even considered charging motorcycles, when the London congestion charging scheme has proved successful and beneficial to congestion busting motorcycles.

Rizla Suzuki Racers To Unveil New Dainese Store And Replica Riding Product In Manchester

Thursday 25th May will see Dainese officially open its first D-Store in the UK. Rizla British Superbike stars Shane 'Shakey' Byrne and James Haydon will be present signing autographs and answering questions fired at them by ITV’s bike racing front-girl, Jane Omorogbe. Both riders will pose for photos with fans next to one of their GSX-R1000 Rizla Suzuki race bikes that will be displayed in the window of the all-new store.
